Oh, the possibilities

I have the next two days off work – and a stock pile of awesome fabric and sketches.  I really want to get a screenprinting area set up in our shed so that I can start printing my own fabric.  Soon, soon.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

I don’t know what to say.  I’m torn between being totally confused and horrified – and really wanting to meet this person.  Next time American Idol is in my town I’m going to smash cans on my head to “Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey”.

Charmaine Olivia

I’m in love with this chick!  If these paintings were dresses they would be in the works right now.  And they are.  !

Check her out on Etsy.

SENSORY OVERLOAD

I’ve been binging on designer dresses all day – looking, not buying of course.  I’ve been overcome with the feeling that I need to turn this pile of fabric into something you can rock down the street.  I’ll post some progress later in the week…

P.S. Why didn’t anyone ever tell me Vivienne Westwood was so amazing?  I’m having a girl moment.

A glitch in the matrix

God Photoshopped this, not me.  How does this even happen?  I wonder if this is some kind of Campbells contest, and I could be in Tahiti right now eating that can of soup, instead of blogging about it.

Also awesome, I finally finished the CD packaging I was working on for my friend’s new album.

The internet is full of goodies today…

A cotton candy padded cell.  “It is an object that addresses the dark side of pleasure, the price of pleasure, the possibility that pleasure is its own punishment.” (jenniferrubell.com)  Personally, I think cotton candy specifically is it’s own punishment.
